  • Mondays        8.00am -11.00 am and  3.00pm -6.00 pm
  • Wednesdays  8.00am -11.00 am and  3.00pm –6.00 pm
  • Thursdays      8.00am –11.00 am and  3.00pm- 6.30 pm

Seasonal flu information

Seasonal flu is a highly infectious illness caused by a flu virus.

The virus infects your lungs and upper airways, causing a sudden high temperature and general aches and pains.

You could also lose your appetite, feel nauseous and have a dry cough. Symptoms can last for up to a week.

We offer ‘at risk’ groups the flu vaccine at a certain time each year to protect you against the flu virus.

At risk groups:

  • Over 65 years of age
  • Pregnant Women
  • or have:
    • Diabetes
    • Immunosuppressed due to treatment
    • Chronic heart disease (IHD)
    • Chronic Respiratory Disease i.e COPD Or Asthma (Steroid Inhalers Users Only)
    • chronic neurological disease
    • Carers (contacted by letter)
  • All Children born between 2/09 /2012- 1/09/2014 (nasal flu Spray)
