Childhood Immunisation Schedule

We strongly recommend that all children are immunised according to the nationally recommended standard schedule.

The current child immunisation schedule is:

Two months old - For babies born after 01/08/2017

Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine, Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib) as one injection and Hepatitus B (DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB)
Pneumoccocal (PCV)
Meningitus B and Rotavirus (oral) and Hep B

Three months old

Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine, Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB) as one injection
Rotavirus (oral) and Hep B

Four months old

Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio vaccine, Hib (DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB) as one injection
Pneumoccocal (PCV) 
Meningitis B (MenB)  

12 months - 13 months

Hib and meningitis C one injection

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles) (MMR)  one injection.For further information on MMR, visit the NHS Choices website.

Pneumococcal and Meningitus B

3 to 5 years (pre-school)

Diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis, inactivated polio vaccine (DTaP/IPV)
Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles) (MMR) - may have at 18 months
